The Lote 5 Vinhas Históricas Reserva Especial 2020 Red wine is produced by Quinta das Chaquedas in Douro. This wine comes from a batch from a vineyard over 100 years old with more than 40 different and historical grape varieties, in a wise mix where Touriga Nacional, Francesa, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Francisca, Barroca and Bufete predominate, among many others. This wine has an intense and clear ruby color, touches of garnet, intense aromas of black fruit, wild blackberry, cassis intertwined with bluish fruit. It also has a part of white spice with toasted wood and Mediterranean forest. In the mouth it has a polished tannin. Aged for 12 months in new French Oak barrels and 18 months in the bottle.
