The sparkling white Montes Ermos brut is produced by Adega Cooperativa de Freixo de Espada à Cinta in the Douro region. This sparkling wine is clear, straw-colored with a fine and persistent bubble. On the nose a complex aroma with citric notes, in balance with notes of dried fruit. In the mouth it has a persistent finish with hints of toasted bread.
It should be served chilled, as an aperitif or accompanying white meat and game dishes; or with desserts rich in almonds.
